Finally, you decided to get your family portraits done with a local professional photographer. And…what is the next step? Do you need to buy just a digital pictures to share with the family and friend and to print it yourself? Or do you need to choose from printing options your photographer offers you?
Well, digital pictures option looks like a great way to save your money and time. You just need to go to a local hour photo lab and to hang pictures on your wall that night. But this way is not always the best choice. Most of the local photo labs greatly distort the colors and you can be very dissapointed, when you’ll get your pictures done. Your photo prints will not look the same as your digital images on your screen.

You can see how the different local photo labs distort the original colors. It always makes me sad, because I spend hours editing your family pictures. And I don’t think you would like to get “bad” prints, especially you spent a money for the great family portraits. This is the reason the professional photographer never use local photo labs to print photos from your family, kids or senior photo session.
